The trampoline competition at the Tokyo Olympics will be held in the Ariake Gymnastics Centre, a temporary venue with a seating capacity of 12,000. All three Olympic gymnastics disciplines--artistic, rhythmic and trampoline--will be competed at the same venue for the second time in Olympic history, the first being at Rio 2016.

The Ariake Gymnastics Centre is located in the northern part of Tokyo's Ariake district nearby to the Athletes' Village, the International Broadcast Center, and the Media Press Center. Originally built as a temporary venue and unveiled in October 2019, it will now remain for 10 years after the Games to maintain the legacy of the Games for the city and its residents.

The area where the arena is built was formerly used for timber storage, which inspired its design and construction. The building features wood as its primary material as a move towards sustainability and Japanese traditional style architecture. Organizers claim the venue has one of the largest timber roofs in the world with the 30-meter-wide structure built from larch wood from the Nagano and Hokkaido prefectures. The rest of the venue, including the main auditorium, the exterior, and the spectator seating features wood from all over the country.
