A reckless driving suspect is in custody after causing damage to several properties and stealing a vehicle with a child inside overnight.

It started around 10:55 p.m. Thursday.

Deputies were called to State Highway 76 and State Highway 96 in the Town of Greenville for a reckless driver complaint.

Deputies discovered a Cadillac Escalade had rammed into the back of an Appleton International Airport Public Safety Truck.

Then the driver of the Escalade stole a Black F-150 truck from a bystander who stopped to help.

A 13-year-old girl and a rifle were inside the truck when it was taken.

Minutes later the 13-year-old was located at a gas station at State Highway 96 and State Highway 76. She was safe and unharmed.

The girl activated her "find my phone" app which helped deputies with a possible location of the stolen truck in the Town of Dale.

Deputies said while searching the Town of Dale another report came in of a hit and run crash in the Medina area.

At 11:38 p.m. the stolen truck was located in the area of State Highway 96 and Industrial Drive in the Town of Dale.

The stolen vehicle and driver were located in a field and taken into custody without incident.

After further investigation, deputies say the driver originally started out the night driving a red four door sedan.

The driver intentionally ran the red car into a house causing injury to someone inside. The suspect then ran the red car into five different overhead doors located on various out buildings on the property.

The suspect then drove his car through a garage door at another residence. It was there he stole the Black Cadillac Escalade that was rammed into an airport vehicle later in the night.

The suspect was charged with kidnapping, reckless endangerment, multiple counts of vehicle theft, multiple counts of damage to property, hit and run causing injury, burglary, and disorderly conduct.

Deputies said methamphetamines were found on the suspect and drug use was a factor in this incident.
