MILWAUKEE -- A report says one of Milwaukee's most recognizable hotels has changed hands, with major plans coming for the property.

Cambridge Landmark is buying the property for $37.3 million, according to the Milwaukee Business Journal. They say the company plans renovations of the property.

The hotel is located in the heart of Milwaukee's Westown neighborhood, between Old World Third Street and Vel Phillips Avenue (North Fourth Street) on West Kilbourn Avenue.

It stands across the street from the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena and two blocks away from the site of the new Milwaukee Bucks arena.
