ASHWAUBENON - An Ashwaubenon Public Safety Officer is recovering from life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle.
It happened around 11:30 Saturday night on Highway I-41 Southbound, south of Waube Lane.
The Public Safety Officer was outside of his car at the scene of a car fire when he was struck by the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for operating under the influence of alcohol.
The Brown County Sheriff's Office along with the Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the crash.
