A billboard in the Texas panhandle is turning the heads of drivers for its message telling 'liberals' to leave the state.
"Liberals," the billboard reads, "please continue on I-40 until you have left our GREAT STATE OF TEXAS."
The billboard is near Vega, about 30 minutes West of Amarillo.
It's gained national attention after it was posted on social media by 25-year-old Kyle McCallie who saw the sign on his way to work, and liked it. But now it's coming down.
Burkett Outdoor Advertising says after all the backlash and media attention, the sign will be taken down and the client will be reimbursed.
