GALLATIN, Tenn. — A Tennessee family is searching for their belongings after a billing issue forced a storage company to sell their possessions at auction, some of which included mementos belonging to their infant son who died unexpectedly.
Dallas Cole and her husband Tyler recently moved some of their possessions to a storage unit in Gallatin, Tennessee, after Tyler was laid of from his job and the family was forced to downsize. Inside the unit were some items that belonged to their son, Tyson, who passed away at just 25 days old.
A billing issue and non-payment meant that the storage company was forced to put Cole's belongings up for auction last week. Some of those items included a blanket that was their son's, pictures from his short life and memory books from his funeral.
The Coles have gotten some of their possessions back but are still trying to find the person who purchased the items at auction to find other priceless keepsakes.
