A Philadelphia man attacked a woman who got out of a cab, then stripped down naked and stole the cab.
A cab driver dropped the woman off in front of these apartments when another man attacked the her.
The cab driver went to help the woman and that's when the man took off all of his clothes jumped in the cab and drove off.
Cell phone video shows the naked car thief driving the car erratically through the city streets until a brave person approached the car while it was still moving and tried to get inside.
The passerby was able to get into the car and turn it off while another person pulled the naked car thief out of the car.
The Good Samaritans said he felt the man just had to be stopped and witnesses say it's a good thing he was.
"There could have been kids around, my initial instinct was that he needed to be stopped," said Brandon Thompson, who witnessed the situation.
"If the other guy hadn't gotten involved he probably would have ran over every single person," said Ernest Wilson who also was standing by.
No one was seriously injured in the incident. Police arrived on the scene and took the car thief into custody.
