Baltimore Police were involved in a high-speed chase with a suspected shooter Friday afternoon.

The unnamed suspect was caught around noon after he bailed out of his car following a lengthy high-speed chase.

Police say the chase began with a traffic stop.

According to Commissioner Kevin Davis a 30-year-old suspect used an assault rifle and handgun to shoot random people as he led police on a chase.

The chase spanned three city districts over the span of 30 minutes. During that time there were five shooting. Two people were hit, one of which is seriously injured.
