More than 90,000 people have signed a petition for President Donald Trump to make Billy Graham Day a national holiday.
The petition was started on Change.org, a website where users start campaigns to gain attention from supporters and decision makers.
The petition to honor Graham says in part, "Mr. Graham preached the Gospel to more people in live audiences than anyone else in history—nearly 215 million people in more than 185 countries and territories—through various meetings, including Mission World and Global Mission."
Supporters are asking the president to give Graham his own holiday because of the impact he's had on the people he's reached through television, videos, films, and webcasts-- including presidents.
As of Tuesday morning, the campaign generated 90,418 electronic signatures in just one week. The campaign hopes to gain 150,000 signatures total.
Graham passed away last month just shy of 100-years-old.
