How to find your loved ones in Mexico after the earthquake

After an earthquake rocked the region near Mexico City, leaving more than 200 people dead, families may be in a scramble to find their loved ones. There are resources out there to help you find them. 

If you know an American citizen in Mexico after an earthquake rocked the country’s capital this week, there are steps you can take to find them.  The U.S. State Department has resources for families on its website, or residents can call the department.

While rescue efforts continue, the Mexican Red Cross will also be accepting donations.
