A Massachusetts shark expert had a close encounter with a great white shark last week, and it was all caught on camera.
Greg Skomal was on a tagging trip near Cape Cod, when the great white breached the water and jumped up with its jaws open.
It happened as Skomal stood on the extended bow of a research vessel.
The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy released video of the close encounter Monday.
