Employee suspended after allegedly painting 'Trump 2020' on New York town's snow plow

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — A town employee has been suspended after allegedly vandalizing a snow plow in New York.

Cheektowaga Highway Department Supervisor Mark Wegner tells WKBW the Town of Cheektowaga employee painted "Trump 2020" on a town snow plow.

Wegner says the truck never made it out to of the garage and the worker has been suspended.

According to Cheektowaga police, the employee, identified as 46-year-old Robert Hupkowicz, was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and making graffiti.

He was arraigned in court and released on his own recognizance.

The truck will be repainted before it is put back in service.
