It's happening again. The infamous blue and black, or white and gold dress debate is back in the form of a pair of shoes, according to the Huffington Post.
It started when a girl texted a picture of the shoes to her mom who told her to buy them because the blue and grey color suited her. She replied back saying the shoes were pink and white.
The girl then sent the photo to friend Nicole Coulthard who also thought the shoes were pink.
Coulthard posted the photo of the shoe in a Facebook group called Girlsmouth and the internet has been debating the color since.
This debate brings back memories of the infamous dress debate in which Bevil Conway, a neuroscientist from Wellesley College, stated that those who saw the dress in lighter colors had an internal model in their brains that imagined they were seeing the dress under a blue sky. He said that those who saw blue and black were imagining the dress under more orange, incandescent lighting.
A similar phenomenon could be happening in the image of this shoe but whatever it is, internet users are sure that the color they see is right.
