Police in Seminole County, Florida got some extra help from an unusual group of four-legged friends to help track down a suspected car thief.

A herd of cows managed to corral one of the suspects who strayed onto their turf.

It started when police spotted a stolen SUV and tried to stop it. But the driver kept going, ran a stop sign and crashed into a ditch.

One person in the car stayed at the scene, while the driver and passenger hoofed it toward a pasture.

That's when about 20 cows got involved, corralling the passenger and eventually herding her to authorizes.

The pair are charged with drug possession, resisting arrest, trespassing and petty theft.
