Co-workers at a Wisconsin business discover they're more than just friends on the job

Two men who work at Rock Solid Transport in Chippewa Falls discovered that they aren't just co-workers, but also father and son.

Nathan Boos says he always just assumed he would never find his biological parents. His adoptive parents knew but Nathan was never curious about it. Until one day when his mom tells him that he is friends with his real father on Facebook.

Boos and his mother looked through his friends list and when he saw who his father was, he couldn't believe his eyes.

"I about fell out of my seat," Boos told WEAU.

It turns out his biological was one of his co-workers at the trucking company.

Robert Degaro says the decision to give Boos up for adoption was a tough one, brought on by financial issues.

"Back then I wasn't much of a dad. His biological mom had chosen the adoptive parents and like he said, because they were somewhat related, distant cousins I believe, but I didn't know that," he said.

Although they have lost years as father and son, both men said that now they know the truth and they plan on continuing to build their relationship in an outside of the office.
