In celebration of their 50th anniversary, Valpak is randomly mailing $100 checks every month in 2018.
Valpak is a direct marketing company based in St. Petersburg, Florida, mainly known for their Blue Envelope of savings.
In a news release in December 2017, the company announced the giveaway celebration. Each month beginning in 2018, they'd send $100 checks to all of their 150 markets.
The company has been doing a form of the random giveaways since 1988, but only in select markets. Now for the company's 50th year, the prizes are randomly placed in all Valpak markets.
Valpak has not been fully successful in getting people to open their prizes. According to WFMY, in 2017, only 7 of 36 sent checks were cashed.
The checks have been randomly mailed out since January of 2018 and there's a chance you may have won the giveaway. Don't forget to check your mail for the $100 check.
Valpak wants to reward customers for opening their mail and there are no strings attached to the giveaway.
