Burger King will begin offering the 'Nightmare King' next week and it will be available through Nov. 1.

The spooky sandwich is made with a quarter pound of beef, chicken filet, American cheese, bacon, mayonnaise and onion. It's served on a green sesame-seed bun.

Burger King is claiming that the special burger will literally induce nightmares. The fast-food chain claims it test it with 100 people over 10 nights and saw a 3.5 increase in nightmares.

According to Dr. Jose Gabriel, who studies sleep, it's the burger's combination of cheese and protein that encourages vivid dreams. He told CNBC 'people's Rapid Eye Movement (REM) cycles were interrupted, a time when most people dream.'
