Police in southern California warned residents to stay indoors as they feared a bear was on the loose. Police then found the bear, who was leisurely wading in someone's swimming pool.
The bear was seen splashing around the pool and trying to keep cool in the Los Angeles heat.
After the bear had its fun, it meandered to the edge of the pool, climbed out, hopped over the hedges and into the next door neighbor's backyard.
The bear is still at large, but he is more than likely just looking for his next "cooling" station.
