3.6 magnitude earthquake rattles metro Detroit

DETROIT -- An earthquake has rattled southeast Michigan and parts of Canada Thursday evening.

According to the USGS, the epicenter of the earthquake was Amherstburg, Canada -- right across the Detroit River from Grosse Ile.

Preliminary readings put the earthquake at 3.6 on the Richter scale.

So far police in both Michigan and Canada are saying there are no reports of damage or injuries.
