GREEN BAY -- A murder suspect from Santa Cruz may be in the Green Bay area, according to the Santa Cruz Police Department.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 43-year-old Kasey Gaskell in connection with the September homicide of Shannon Magner, his mother.

Magner, 66 years old, was discovered in a Santa Cruz apartment rented by Gaskell. No motive has been determined.
Police say Gaskel's last known location as of late last month was Kansas City, Kansas. They added that Gaskell may be headed to the Green Bay area because he has lived there before.

The Santa Cruz Police Department and the Santa Cruz County District Attorney’s Office have requested the assistance of the FBI in an effort to locate Gaskell. A federal warrant for Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution has been requested.

Anyone with information about Kasey Gaskell’s location is encouraged to call 911, your local police or Sheriff’s Department, or your local FBI Office.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about the murder to contact the Santa Cruz Police Department Investigation Unit at (831) 420-5820.
