ASHWAUBENON -- An Ashwaubenon woman has been arrested and faces five felony charges after she allegedly provided heroin to her son, who then overdosed on the drug.
On Wednesday, Ashwaubenon Public Safety responded to an address on Viking Drive in Ashwaubenon for a male who had overdosed on heroin.
The heroin antidote Naloxone was administered, and he was successfully resuscitated.
Further investigation revealed that a 53-year-old woman, the overdose victim’s mother, allegedly supplied the heroin to the victim and another woman in the home.
A search of the residence uncovered numerous items of drug paraphernalia along with heroin, marijuana, methamphetamine and prescription drugs.
The 53-year-old woman was jailed with requested charges of first degree reckless injury, possession of heroin, keeper of a drug house, manufacturing/delivery of heroin and felony bail jumping.
A 22-year-old woman was jailed with requested charges of possession of heroin, possession with intent to abuse a hazardous substance, keeper of a drug house and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A 22-year-old man was jailed with requested charges of possession of heroin, possession with intent to abuse a hazardous substance, keeper of a drug house and possession of drug paraphernalia.
