MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are searching for suspects in a shooting that left a 30-year-old dead Tuesday night.

The shooting happened around 10:43 p.m. near Vel R. Phillips and Locust in Milwaukee. Police said the victim was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Ulysses J. Turner.

The search for suspects and what led up to the shooting is still under investigation.
