MILWAUKEE— Milwaukee police are searching for suspects in a triple shooting that killed two people and injured a third on the city's north side Saturday evening.
The shooting occurred near 34th Street, Sheridan Avenue and Silver Spring Drive around 6:15 p.m. Saturday, according to police.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found two victims who had been shot, including a 16-year-old. Police said the teen was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
The second victim’s age was not released by police. On Sunday, police confirmed that a third victim had been found — a 17-year-old who was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified as Jorey Anderson by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office.
Family members later identified the second victim as 20-year-old Zy’Kerion Teague.
Keana Beamon, an older cousin of Teague, described him as a “great father” to his 5 1/2-month-old son, with another child on the way. Beamon said Teague had energy that “lit up the room.”

“He was really big on family. He started in church playing drums at a young age. He loved to rap and make music. He made beats, designed album covers, made videos and edited them,” Beamon said. “He wanted to do something great in life with music to make sure he and his kids were OK.”
The family said they had previously been affected by gun violence, losing a loved one in 2017. Beamon is pleading with the community to stop the violence.
“This has really broken our family into pieces with another death. We already lost my brother, his favorite big cousin he looked up to, back in 2017 to gun violence,” Beamon said. “Milwaukee, we gotta stop the violence. I hate it there because they took two of my favorite people. I can never come back to Milwaukee.”

Milwaukee police continue to seek an unknown suspect or suspects.
