Milwaukee Police Department: One shot and killed in city's Uptown neighborhood Sunday morning

MILWAUKEE — One person is dead after a shooting in the early morning hours of Sunday in Milwaukee's Uptown neighborhood.

According to a release from the Milwaukee Police Department, a 32-year-old man was fatally shot around 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 23 on the 5200 block of W Meinecke Ave.

First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

MPD says it is still investigating the what lead up to the shooting and it continues to seek an unknown suspect or suspects.
