A woman was transported to the hospital after being stabbed Tuesday afternoon.
The 30-year-old woman got into an argument with one another woman who eventually stabbed her, leaving her with a 1-inch cut to her shoulder. Police say the incident happened in the 5000 block of North Hopkins Street about 4: 30 p.m.
The 30-year-old was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect, a 45-year-old woman, has been placed in police custody.
