Milwaukee Police are investigating the shooting of a woman in the downtown area early Thursday morning.
It happened in the 600 block of N. Broadway near the corner of Michigan shortly before 2 a.m.
Police say the 22-year-old woman was transported to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
The shooting was believed to have been preceded by some sort of dispute involving the victim, according to investigators.
Police are trying to identify suspects in the case.
