KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) -- A woman has died in a crash in Kenosha County, and a sheriff's deputy who was investigating was injured by a suspected drunken driver.
The crash happened Sunday evening near the Town of Salem.
A 30-year-old Bristol woman died and another woman was injured when two cars collided.
While authorities were investigating and controlling traffic, a suspected drunken driver ran over a deputy's foot. That man was arrested for his fourth OWI offense. Authorities say he tried to drive past a patrol vehicle and road flares and the deputy's foot was run over after he approached the man.
