SHEBOGYAN-- A woman has been charged with her third OWI, with minors in the car.

Vanessa Molina, 35, was arrested after driving her two sons, ages 9 and 6, and another woman to the Kwik Trip on South Business Dr.

A Sheboygan Police Officer had stopped at the store where an employee waved him over. The employee told the officer that the two women in the store were stumbling and falling in aisles.

The woman with Molina had dropped a band that the employee had recognized as drug paraphernalia with blood on it. The officer approached her and the woman stated that Molina had driven them to the store.

When the officer approached the defendant, she had trouble carrying out coherent conversations and took several times to unlock her phone, according to the criminal complaint. After a failed field sobriety test, Molina was arrested and taken into police custody, while her mother arrived at the Kwik Trip and picked up the children.

Molina's mother mentioned to the police officer that she dropped the children off at the defendant's home and noticed that she was acting very energetic.

Molina's license was revoked at the time of her arrest.
