ALTOONA -- A Wisconsin woman celebrated a birthday milestone Tuesday - she's turning 107 years old this year.
Phyllis Beebe of Osseo, Wisconsin celebrated with friends and ice cream sundaes. Her actual birthday is Thursday.
Phyllis says she studied to become a teacher at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire before it was a university.
She says she attributes her long, happy life to her strong devotion to her faith.
"Well I tell everybody the only reason I'm here is because the Lord has let me live," she said. "I just want to thank everybody for being so kind to me."
