MADISON, Wis. - A man is facing his sixth drunken driving charge after he crashed his vehicle into a house Wednesday morning.
According to a police report obtained by WISC-TV,the 32-year-old man was driving a Chrysler Pacifica and first hit another car and a large pine tree before he collided into the house.
He then fled on foot from the minivan and left behind his wallet and driver's license.
Multiple witnesses provided information to police including a description of the driver and his direction of travel. He was found at his nearby home and taken into custody.
Police said no injuries were reported. Damage to the house was limited to the garage and a corner of the home.
The man was booked into the Dane County Jail on suspicion of sixth-offense operating while intoxicated.
