Looking for a new pet? Now might be the best time to adopt.
The Wisconsin Humane Society is waiving the fees for the first 30 adoptions on Friday, Sept. 30 – the first five in Racine, the first five in Saukville and the first 20 in Milwaukee.
A spokesperson at the Wisconsin Humane Society said they have about 200 animals looking for new homes.
The WHS opens at noon in Milwaukee and at 2 p.m. in Racine and Saukville.
