The Wisconsin Humane Society has taken in a record-number of seized animals from one home.

WHS said it took in 160 animals from a large-scale law enforcement seizure on Thursday. Of the animals taken in, 52 of them were ball python snakes and 108 were rats and mice.

"The influx of species with such unique needs does put a strain on WHS resources," the organization said.

The WHS said it is asking for the public's help in donations.
