Here's something to smile about: Wisconsin has the best dental health in the entire country.
A report from WalletHub compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia across 26 key indicators of dental wellness, including dental treatment costs, share of adult smokers, and pain due to oral condition. Each metric was graded on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the most favorable conditions for dental health.
The report found Wisconsin was #1 for dental habits & care and 6th for oral health. WalletHub gave Wisconsin a total score of 75.69, the highest in the country.
Two Midwest states round out the top 3: Illinois and Minnesota. Arkansas and Mississippi had the lowest total scores.
