A family vacation to Las Vegas is one the Qureshi family won't soon forget - but not for the lights and shows.
The Neenah family was on the Las Vegas strip as a car crashed into the crowd, killing one and injuring 36 others.
"I suddenly saw people flying in the air," said Rabia Qureshi.
Qureshi said her son tried to get out of the car to help, tears in his eyes.
"He was very upset," she said. Qureshi said her 12-year-old son asked how somebody could do that.
Police said 24-year-old Lakeisha Holloway drove her car through a crowd on purpose with her three-year-old daughter in her back seat.
When it happened, Qureshi said her husband Atif, a doctor, ran to try to help.
"I went into doctor mode and I wasn't thinking of anything else but to help those people," he said.
Monday, Qureshi said their focus is helping their children move forward after the horrible things they saw.
