****WINTER STORM WARNING FOR SHEBOYGAN, FOND DU LAC, DODGE, WASHINGTON, OZAUKEE, JEFFERSON, WAUKESHA AND MILWAUKEE COUNTIES UNTIL 12AM WEDNESDAY*******

*****WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR WALWORTH, RACINE, KENOSHA COUNTIES FROM UNTIL 12AM WEDNESDAY******

The active weather continues with another snowstorm brewing, this one doesn't move into southeastern Wisconsin until late this evening however so the commute home is just fine. The snow starts in the southwest mainly after 8pm this evening, moving into Milwaukee after 10pm though some flurries are certainly possible before then. The heaviest snow will fall between 1am and 7am with snowfall amounts up to 2-4" by then, it will still be snowing throughout Tuesday but it won't be as intense as the back side of the system pushes through Tuesday evening, this will add another 1-4" of snow with the highest amounts in the north as there is a chance for some freezing drizzle and sleet to mix in with the snow in the south. Milwaukee should see 5-7" of the heavier, wet snow by the time this system clears out so take your time shoveling. Temperatures are going to be close to freezing all day and night but it will be windy tonight and tomorrow with an easterly wind adding some lake enhancement before switching to the northwest behind the cold front Tuesday evening.

Wednesday we will catch a break with partly cloudy skies and colder temperatures in the morning with teens to start, warming into the 20s, though with a strong westerly breez our wind chills will stay in the single digits through most of the day.

Another system moves in on Thursday so be prepared for a slower drive to any Valentine's Day reservations you may have as we'll watch snow and even a wintry mix move in by the evening hours after a high of 35 degrees. This transitions to snow Thursday night and into Friday morning with highs near 30 degrees. Saturday is dry again with partly cloudy skies but colder temps in the low 20s. A quick clipper approaches on Sunday night to bring a batch of light snow but quieter weather looks to be on the horizon for next week at the moment.
