The West Allis-West Milwaukee School District sent a letter to parents Tuesday saying a student reported that a man in a white van got out of the vehicle and chased the student.
Superintendent Marty Lexmond said in the letter the student said he was walking to Pershing Elementary school with the driver chased him.
The student ran directly to the school and immediately told school officials.
According to the student’s description, the driver was a white man between 25 and 35 years old, wearing a black jacket and black gloves.
Lexmond said if anyone has information about the incident to call West Milwaukee Police.
