West Bend teen arrested, suspended after posting threats on social media

WEST BEND — The West Bend Police Department was notified that a 14-year-old high school student had posted vague and threatening messages toward peers.

Police found the threats made on social media and identified the high school student.

West Bend Police and the Washington County Sheriff's Department took the boy into custody for disorderly conduct and referred him to juvenile authorities.

The child also has been suspended from the school.
