West Allis police officers were involved in a pursuit of a reckless driver Wednesday morning.
Police say the pursuit began about 3:30 a.m., and ended on I-94 eastbound at S. 84th Street after the vehicle was found crashed near N. General Mitchell Boulevard.
The driver of the vehicle initially fled from police, but was located by officers in the immediate area.
The driver was transported to the hospital for medical clearance.
Charges will be forwarded to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office in the coming days.
