West Allis Police still looking for arsonist who injured small child

West Allis Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down an arsonist who injured a small child. 

Police say someone appeared to have intentionally set a fire to a first floor unit in the Lincoln Crest Apartments last weekend. 

Kuldeep Batanick and other neighbors said they heard a lot of noise coming from the unit, but did not know what was going on.

"We saw a lot of fire trucks and we were worried what happened," said Batanik. "We feel definitely sad, it could happen to anyone. It's a very sad incident. We are very sorry for this child."
