The West Allis Police Department responded to a residence on the 1700 block of S. 116th Street at approximately 1:33 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18 for a report of a stabbing.
When officers arrived they located a 35-year-old West Allis man with significant injuries.
West Allis police and fire personnel attempted life-saving measures to the victim. Ultimately the man succumbed to injuries at the scene.
Police have taken a 28-year-old Cudahy woman into custody regarding this incident.
Police believe there is no ongoing danger to the community and that this incident was was isolated. An investigation is ongoing.
