The West Allis Health Department is offering free blood lead testing for West Allis-West Milwaukee children, ages six-months to six-years.
Lead testing is available from 8 a.m. to Noon and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Fridays at the West Allis Health Department. Testing is available by appointment only. Parents who are interested in getting their children tested should call (414) 302-8645 to schedule an appointment.
The West Allis Health Departments recommends that children get screened routinely once they are 12-month-old.
