There's no time to be down about the weather when Milwaukee is bustling with these fun events.

The circus is in town! The Tripoli Shrine Circus is at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena Friday through Sunday. See the animals and the acrobats perform. Tickets are available online.

Grab your snowshoes and bundle up for the Urban Candlelight Hike in Three Bridges Park on Saturday. The trek stretches 2 miles of the Hank Aaron State Trail, followed by campfires, marshmallow roasting and more.

The Milwaukee Children's Choir is honoring Black History Month with a Tribute to the American Black Composer. The choir will sing music from Margaret Bonds, Florence Price, William Grant Still, Duke Ellington, Thomas "Fats" Waller, Rollo Dilworth and more. This event is on Saturday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Saint Sebastian Parish.

The only thing better than food is food at a discount. More than 20 restaurants are participating in this year's Taste & Toast for specially priced plates, appetizers and one-of-a-kind beverages. It kicks off Monday and runs through March 1.

This last event has been called the cocktail version of Food Network's "Chopped." Cocktail mixologists are battling it out at 86'D: Battle of the Bartenders on Monday. Stop by the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts to sample the different drinks. Get your tickets online.
