Weekend Events: Belated Valentine's celebrations

If you weren't able to celebrate your loved one on Thursday, check out some of these unique date-worthy events this weekend.

The winter weather may be making you antsy to get back on your Harley, but this event can help to ease your pain. The Mama Tried Motorcycle Show is going on Saturday and Sunday at the Eagles Ballroom. Over 100 bikes will be on display, and it all kicks off Friday with indoor motorcycle races at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.

The Milwaukee Art Museum presents MAM After Dark: Gilded Age Friday night, and it's the perfect excuse to get dressed up. They're calling the evening of dancing and cocktails the "artsiest party in Milwaukee." The event runs from 7 pm. until 11 p.m.

Cedarburg's Winter Festival is taking over Washington Ave. Saturday and Sunday. This year's theme is National Lampoon Vacation Movies, so it's sure to be packed with family fun. Activities include ice carving competitions, beer tastings, a parade and more. Check it out 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Your favorite Disney characters are hitting the ice at Fiserv Forum Friday through Sunday for Disney On Ice Celebrates 100 Years of Magic. Everyone from Mickey to Frozen's Elsa will be at the show. Tickets are available online.

A new rendition of the stage classic Fiddler on the Roof is showing Friday through Sunday at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. The show brings a fresh perspective to the original soundtrack and choreography.

Perhaps the tastiest of all the events on the list, Baconfest MKE is at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino Sunday. Patrick Cudahy and 102.9 THE HOG are sponsoring this celebration of all things bacon. Get your tickets online.
