A water main break caused business closures in Wauwatosa Tuesday.
The break happened around 8 a.m. near 124th and Capitol Drive.
Initially water flooded the streets, slowing down traffic. As the day went on crews began to repair the line, but at least two businesses in the area were left without water.
Qdoba and Burger King workers placed signs on their doors telling customers they were closed because of the break.
Customers like Brett Clarke had to be turned away.
“I was very disappointed that Qdoba was closed. Very disappointed, kind of ruined my day to be honest” said Clarke.
As of 10pm crews were still working on repairing the line. Wauwatosa Department of Public works could not be reached for comment.
