WAUWATOSA — The Wauwatosa Police Department is working to determine the circumstances behind a substantial fight that occurred at Mayfair Mall on Saturday.
Police responded to the mall about 8:30 p.m. after receiving calls about the fight. Witnesses say that several juveniles started fighting on the lower level of the shopping center.
Two people were arrested, according to the Wauwatosa Police Department. One person was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Officers with the Brookfield, West Allis and Elm Grove police departments were called in to assist officers attempting to clear the scene.
A TODAY'S TMJ4 photojournalist witnessed deputies from the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office staging in the parking lot before entering the mall.
