The Waupun Police Department posted to Facebook soliciting help to find a little girl's legal guardian Monday morning.
According to Waupun Police, the child was located arund 7:20 a.m. sitting on a porch on N. Madison Street. She was then transported to the hospital to observation.
In attempts to located the guardian, police canvassed the area and contacted Dodge County Social Services.
Ultimately the mother saw the Facebook post and contacted authorities.
