DANE COUNTY — A Waunakee man was arrested for his third OWI on Friday after Wisconsin State Patrol saw him speeding on highway 113.
Around 11:39 p.m. on Friday, the Wisconsin State Patrol pulled over Todd Swenson, 45, for speeding.
Upon inspection, a Wisconsin State Patrol officer noticed multiple signs of impairment and saw a passenger in the vehicle who was under the age of 16.
Police say the officer then conducted several standardized field sobriety tests. Those tests showed that Swenson was under the influence and he was taken into custody for his third OWI.
