WAUKESHA -- A Waukesha woman is recovering from life-threatening injuries after she was stabbed inside her home.
Police were called to the victim’s home, located in the 800 block of Rock Street, around 6 p.m. Saturday for a domestic-related stabbing.
According to police, the victim was transported to Waukesha Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries. She’s listed in stable but serious condition at this time.
The suspect was arrested at the scene and is cooperating with police’s investigation.
Police say three young children were inside the home during the incident and are considered witnesses. They have been placed with other family members.
Waukesha police say their investigation is still ongoing – and cannot release any other information at this time.
