WAUKESHA — The Waukesha County Sheriff's Office is investigating an early morning pursuit that resulted in a deputy being injured.
Police attempted to stop a vehicle traveling on the expressway about 6 a.m. Monday that was confirmed as stolen out of an Illinois suburb.
The suspects refused to stop and were chased into a dead end on S. 101st Street in West Allis. Waukesha deputies attempted to block the vehicle into the dead end when the suspects struck a responding squad car.
One deputy suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment, authorities said.
The West Allis Police Department was also on scene to provide assistance.
Three adult male suspects were taken into custody along with a juvenile.
