Waukesha Police: Registered sex offender released after serving sentence

Waukesha police announced the release of a convicted sex offender from prison Monday. 

According to a Sex Offender Information Bulletin from the Waukesha Police Department, Jose A. Ferrer was convicted of a sex offense.

In 2011, Ferrer was convicted of having intercourse with a 16-year-old girl and keeping photographs. Additionally, Ferrer was convicted of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl. Ferrer assaulted the girl even after the conviction.

Ferrer is a 28-year-old white male with black hair. He's 5'9" and weighs about 280 pounds.

Ferrer served his sentence and will be residing at an apartment in Waukesha.

Under his restraints, Ferrer cannot consume alcohol or drugs, visit establishments with alcohol or drugs, have contact with the victims, or unsupervised contact with minors.
